Fat in our Bodies
Did you know that we have three kinds of FAT in our bodies?
- Structural fat – this surrounds our organs and joints, arteries and keeps skin smooth and taught.
- Fat reserves, for fuel – these are all over our body and are our fuel.
These first two fats are released for fuel & energy when we diet and exercise. So we lose weight but could also look and feel awful (weak, hungry, wrinkled and flabby skin) if we don’t know how to keep the structural fat.
The third fat is referred to as abnormal secure fat reserves – this is the fat in our ‘problem’ areas – mostly hips, thighs, buttocks & belly. Our body does not release this fat, as this is our survival mechanism! It will only release this fat when it feels it is near starvation and there is an emergency!
Also, if your pancreas (which produces insulin) is not operating properly (as is the case with most people with a weight problem) this results in insulin intolerance and your body will continue to store more fat abnormally.
Hormones are also responsible for the regulation of your metabolism. Hormonal imbalances are caused in part by stress; chemical additives in food; chlorine and fluoride in water, cosmetics, lotions, candida overgrowth, a sluggish liver and colon, amongst other factors.
The W2RN programs are intended to correct hormonal imbalances and make sure your body is releasing the abnormal and some of the normal fat reserves, not your structural fat.
